 SKYWARN Spotter Training
at the March 26th NJWO Meeting!

NJWO is proud to partner with the National Weather Service Office in Upton, NY and The 10-70 Repeater Association to host a Basic SKYWARN Spotters training class on

A Basic NWS SKYWARN Spotter Training Class will be held in Paramus, Bergen County NJ on Wednesday evening, March 26, 2003 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Pre-registration is requested but not required. These are free Classes, conducted by a staff meteorologist from the NWS and are open to all new and previously Trained SKYWARN Spotters. 

Remember, SKYWARN Spotter Training Classes are not limited just to residents of the Counties where they are held . All NWS Basic SKYWARN Spotter Training Classes are open to all who wish to attend.

Please Note:  Starting in 2002 all NWS Upton NY SKYWARN Spotters must be retrained at least once every 3 years. This is so that you will be up-to-date on the latest Spotter information. Classes will be held throughout the Upton NY CWA, so be sure to attend one in your area if you haven't attended a Class recently.

Light refreshments will be served.
