Dennis O'Keefe Has Passed Away
NJWO
received word on Tuesday August 29th 2006 that Dennis had passed away suddenly.
An autopsy revealed that Dennis expired due to a hemorrhage in his brian.
Many of you knew Dennis. Those of you that don't missed getting to know one of the most dedicated members of NJWO. Dennis lived in New Paltz New York. He would make the one hour plus drive to Paramus NJ more often than members who live 10-15 minutes away.
Dennis was an officer of NJWO for many years. He served as a faithful Secretary for the club recording the minutes at every meeting. Dennis stepped down as Secretary when he successfully battled cancer several years ago.
Dennis took many photos. Many of these were laid out at a memorial service recently. Friends were encouraged to take as many as they wanted. Our current NJWO secretary Bob attended as received some photos of NJWO and Dennis. To the left is one of those photos of Dennis.
