LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING AND TALKINGTO ALL OF YOU,    ROGER

I want to thank the four gentlemen who have "signed up" to speak at our ;presentation portion of the conference 9am to 1230pm that day. I would appreciate hearing from them as to their topic. Each will have 30 minutes to present their talks. I ask that any equipment needed for their presentations be brought by the speakers. I do not have extensive equipment to provide.

I suggest that the various groups coming to the conference give me an approximation of the numbers to be in attendance. I would hope each group will send a delegation, as I have been active in all groups who will be participating. C,mon LIWO we need you to contribute a speaker or to be part of a panel to discuss some weather topic. As a native Long Islander and one of the founders of the LIWO

I know there is a world beyond our lovely shores. There are many motels in the vicinity in the towns of Fairlee, VT, Bradford,VT, Woodsville, NH, Look them up in the state Mobil or AAA guides. I do not recommend individual motels as a matter of policy. The picnic that will follow after the talks will be provided by THE MUSEUM OF AMERICAN WEATHER and will be at no cost to participants.

There is, as has been the tradition, no cost for attending. I am sorry that I will be unable to provide housing on the grounds of the museum, except for speakers coming a long distance.

Here is some information on Roger Brickner’s picnic.:

9:00 AM- 12:30 PM on Saturday, July 19, there will be speakers.

Roger would like an approximate head count to get an idea of how many people will be attending. Please get in touch with either Roger or one of the club officers and we can take care of it.
